If you have the problems with your connection via Hotmail, Outlook or Windows Live account, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://account.live.com/activity and sign in using the email address and password of the affected account.

  2. Please check your inbox. Here you can find the confirmation code to enter your email account.

  3. Under "Recent activity" find the "Session Type" event that matches the most recent time you received the connection error and click to expand it.

  4. Select "This was me" to let the system know you authorize the IMAP connection.
  5. Attempt to connect to the account via our app into your Hotmail/Outlook/Windows Live account.
